What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate is a technical problem solver who can sell: someone who can move comfortably between a customer engineering discussion, an internal manufacturing review, a technical quotation, and a business-development conversation. The role requires enough technical depth to understand the engineering problem behind a customer's drawing or specification and enough commercial judgment to turn viable technical solutions into profitable, long-term customer relationships.

Key Qualifications

  • B.S. in engineering, materials science, ceramics, or a closely related technical discipline; mechanical, electrical, or materials engineering preferred
  • 2-5 years of technical sales, applications engineering, product engineering, or related customer-facing engineering experience (microelectronics, advanced ceramics, semiconductor/RF packaging, or hermetic packaging experience preferred)
  • Ability to read and discuss engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, models, and customer technical documentation
  • Familiarity with quality systems and customer-specific requirements; AdTech is ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP certified
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple opportunities and maintain disciplined follow-up
  • U.S. Citizen as defined by applicable U.S. export-control regulations; willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10–30%
